Design in Details

This project involves the design and realization of a new Administrative Block for the École Normale Supérieure of Fès, developed to support the institutional and administrative functions of the university campus.

The architectural concept is structured around clarity, efficiency, and identity. The building is organized to ensure intuitive circulation, functional zoning, and optimal working conditions for staff and visitors. Natural light plays a central role, particularly through the internal patio, which enhances spatial quality while improving environmental comfort.

The architectural language blends contemporary design principles with Moroccan architectural references, notably through patterned façades, controlled openings, and interior finishes inspired by traditional craftsmanship. Materials were selected for durability, ease of maintenance, and contextual integration within the academic environment.

Incredible Result

The final outcome delivers a coherent, dignified, and highly functional administrative facility that meets the operational needs of a major public institution.

The project successfully combines institutional presence, architectural identity, and user comfort, offering a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. The interior spaces benefit from natural ventilation and daylight, while the exterior expresses a strong yet balanced architectural character aligned with the university’s image.

This administrative block stands as a modern public architecture reference, demonstrating how thoughtful design can enhance functionality, sustainability, and cultural expression within an educational context.
